About
goTenna is creating peer-to-peer communications systems — no towers, routers, or satellites required. The first product was a device that pairs with smartphones, and enables users to connect directly via text using RF (radio frequency). The company was born out frustration to communicate at a crowded music festivals and Hurricane Sandy. Key use cases include government, civic, military and consumer when there is desire or need to communicate with an ad-hoc or secure network.
